    GENOMIC RESOURCES

The Mimulus project page provides resources supported by an NSF FIBR, "Integrated ecological and genomic analysis of speciation in Mimulus":
· access to the latest available
   genomic resources for M.
    guttatus
and M. lewisii
· searchable database of ESTs,
   BACS, and Unigenes
· an integrated physical and
   genetic map
Mimulus community wiki
· more information on research
   in the genus Mimulus
· links to the community of
   researchers studying Mimulus
· Protocols and other resources
· interested parties can apply
to become a member of the
   Mimulus community
As a result of the genomic resources generated from the NSF FIBR, and the rich history of ecological studies in Mimulus, the DOE's Joint Genome Institute announced in 2005 that it would sequence the genome of M. guttatus, along with 200,000 M. guttatus and 20,000 M. lewisii ESTs. Read the press release here!

Clemson University     Genomics Institute provides:
· physical maps of both M.
    guttatus
and M. lewisii
· BAC libraries and clones of M.
    guttatus
and M. lewisii for
    sale
· other resources
