Mentorship In a mentorship, you will work one-on-one with a faculty member at one of the program's partner institutions. The goals of the mentorship are for you to expand and refine your teaching skills and to develop an understanding of what faculty members do on a day-to-day basis. The mentorship should last at least one semester. However, often graduate students discover that their relationship with their mentor continues, even if informally, beyond the single semester of intensive contact. You should plan to meet you're your mentor for 2-3 full days or for 4-6 shorter visits. These meetings generally take place at your mentor's campus. The nature and content of the meetings depend on what you and your mentor hope to accomplish.
