Bio 390: Seminar in Teaching Biology

Bio 390 is a course designed for graduate students interested in learning more about how to teach biology effectively and how to navigate the academic job market. The format of the course is discussion-oriented with contributions from faculty from a number of colleges and universities in the area. Graduate students and faculty have the opportunity to open a dialog about all aspects of teaching biology. In addition, graduate students have the opportunity to develop skills in areas such as course and curriculum design and writing a teaching statement.
