Botany Plot
The Botany Plot is a protected field for large scale in-ground plant experiments, similar to the Field Station but it is the located on Cameron Boulevard (NC 751) and is within walking distance to French Family Science Center. Unlike our core facilities on campus, staff services at the Botany Plot are limited. We provide field preparation each spring by mowing and tilling the two plots (5,734 ft2 & 4,606 ft2). Water & electricity at the site are provided, however researchers need to bring all the equipment necessary for the maintenance of their experiments.
