dsRNA injections: We offer dsRNA injection services to clients. We require 2 mg/ml of dsRNA in 10-20 microliters of injection buffer. We do midline injections at stage 1-2. For a typical experiment assayed by cuticle prep, we will inject 100 embryos for each dsRNA. In experiments where 200 or 300 embryos are injected for the same construct, we treat that as two or three separate orders. After injection, we will give you the injected embryos for you to treat as you wish. When contacting us with the number of samples to be injected, please remember to include all the controls. The injected embryos cannot be shipped-they MUST be picked up from our lab. The cost for each construct is $100 USD. We can, of course tailor these to the specific experiment. We can sometimes do cuticle preps or fix them for antibody staining (within reason), and we've previously injected into some very specific backgrounds to "reveal" the dsRNA phenotype.
