So, you want to go to grad school? Really?


Well, we happen to be searching for the right person to join our lab.
We're looking for creative, enthusiastic, and quantitative grad students with backgrounds in biology and/or applied math. We expect incoming students to be able to synthesize material from different fields, including ecology, evolution, virology, applied math, and epidemiology. 

Before contacting Katia, though, please make sure you spend some time finding out about what we do here.
(N.B.: This is purely a theory lab: no wet lab work is being done here, and 'field work' means collaborative interactions with research hospitals and surveillance centers.)
Read a couple of our papers, think about what you liked most (and least) in these papers, and what kind of questions you'd like to go about asking during grad school.
