BIOLOGY 295S: CURRENT TOPICS IN SENSORY BIOLOGY

Description:
Advances in equipment, computing power, and genetics have led to
a renaissance in sensory biology. This graduate seminar studies
recent papers in this field. Potential topics include, but are not
limited to vision, hearing, electroreception, magnetoreception,
chemoreception, sense of time, mechanoreception, and proprioception.
Students are responsible for reading 3-5 journal articles per week
and for leading the discussion 2-3 times per course. Grade is based
on participation.
