Climate change is a major threat to species, communities, and ecosystems due to the rapid rate at which the climate is expected to change in the near future. This website describes the numerous effects on terrestrial biodiversity from climate change. I briefly review the current knowledge on climate change and then discuss the potential and known effects on terrestrial biodiversity. Next, I discuss the conservation implications and some approaches that can help to counteract this problem.
