 I am interested in root responses to environmental stresses, particularly global change stresses such as soil acidification. Acidic soils are a constraint to crop production worldwide. I will examine the whole root and cell-type specific transcriptional response to an acidic environment. I will also investigate rice root architecture and the effects of nutrient deprivation on the rice root system. Back |
