- Introduction of DDP and Aridnet
- Summary of prior ARIDnet workshops
- Introduction to Mixteca Alta and CEDICAM
- Discussion of workshop structure and questions

Tuesday, 22 April |
- Field visits and interviews- different working groups visit eight communities (having worked with CEDICAM previously)
- Working group discussion of preliminary findings

Wednesay, 23 April |
- Field visit and working groups continue, visit to eight communities (without previous experience with CEDICAM)
- Visit with four large-scale commercial agricultural producers in the Nochixtlán valley

Thursday, 24 April |
- Working groups elaborate report
- Working groups present preliminary conclusions
- Development of conceptual model
- Cultural event with local community

Friday, 25 April |
- Final discussion and finalization of the conceptual model.
- Travel to Oaxaca
